Out-of-network benefits
If your insurance isn't listed, your plan may still reimburse part of the cost. We can provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement.
Self-pay
Self-pay is available for clients who prefer not to use insurance or whose plan doesn't cover the service. Contact us for current session fees.
Services insurance typically doesn't cover
Court-ordered programs, including anger management and domestic violence treatment, are generally not billed to insurance. Couples counseling may or may not be covered, depending on your plan. We'll walk you through your options before you begin.

Do you accept insurance?
Yes. Caulfield Center is in-network with Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, and Aetna. Benefits vary by plan, so we recommend confirming your mental health coverage with your insurer.
Is Anthem Blue Cross the same as Blue Shield of California?
No. They are separate companies. We are in-network with both, so check the name on your insurance card when you contact us.
What if my insurance isn't listed?
You may have out-of-network benefits. We can provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement. Self-pay is also available.
Does insurance cover telehealth sessions?
Many plans do, but coverage varies. Ask your insurer whether video sessions are covered at the same rate as in-office visits.
